My Speech

Success Criteria: we will have met our learning intentions when we can

  • Plan our speech using Coggle
  • Construct texts that show an awareness of purpose and audience through deliberate choice of content, language, and text form.
  • Convey and sustain personal voice where appropriate.
  • Write and film our own version of a “edTalk” to share with our peers.

Paper chart

Create - Mathematics. We are learning to plan and conduct investigations using the statistical enquiry cycle:
- determining appropriate variables and 1ata collection methods;
- gathering, sorting, and displaying multivariate category, and time series data to detect patterns, variations, relationships and trends;
- comparing distributions visually;
- communicating findings, using appropriate displays.

We will have met the success criteria when we
  • Develop an understanding of how to use a tally chart and a frequency table.
  • Use a spreadsheet to record our tally / frequency data.
  • Correctly develop a graph or chart using a spreadsheet programme. (Google Sheets)
Develop a clear statement based on our graphed data and share our learning on our learning blog.

Pages 1-2 and 3-4 have the least articles and 11-12 and 13-14 have the most articles. The most articles were around 45 and the least were around 12. All the pages were out of the press which is a set of papers that are delivered in the weekend.

Why do pages 1-4 have the least articles and why do 11-14 have the most articles?

Where Do We Get Our Water From?

My Poem About Swimming

IMG_5998.jpg
The pool was
as silent as the library
goosebumps all over me.
“ On your marks, go!!”
I dove into cold water
crowd cheering
goosebumps suddenly disappeared
 so did the sick feeling
I swam as fast as I could
It felt like a lifetime.
As I speed past the crowd like a jet boat
I could see the wall
so close now.
swimming faster than ever
I hit the wall
crowd cheering louder than ever
I look back down the pool
to my amazement
everyone was still swimming
“I had won!”
