Weta slide

  1. Kia ora Jayden,

Your poem has many language features, but many are also missing. Your poem was short and filled with many ideas. I also wrote a poem on the Tree Weta. You could also include what the weta eats and when it hunts for its food so we know that you have the knowledge of the tree weta prey.

You have included what they looked like and the:
    ⋅scientific name
    ⋅the location
    ⋅homonyms
    ⋅suffix plural
    ⋅blend.
Aso you have put where they are in the food chain. The information on the egg was great but it would be great if you could add a little more of the lifecycle.

There are some punctuation mistakes you need to fix. As well as:
⋅synonyms (words that have the same meaning
⋅simile ( describing using ‘like’ or ‘as’)
⋅sibilance (words that have the ‘ssss’ sound, like a hiss).
You also have not included the:
⋅Māori name of the Tree Weta.
Read through your work and make sure everything makes sense.

    Kind regards
    Greanne
