When I started this is where I was. Prestructural i’m not sure about this subject and I didn't know anything.

Now i’m Multi structural Because I can Define what government means ? Government is when a group of people govern a country and make decisions to change it.

Describe government. Government is a place where different parties are voted into have a better say about what they want.

Describe ways in which people can make decisions. The ways in which people make decisions is they bring it up and try to persuade people about the thing they want to change then the have a vote about it if they get more votes to make it happen they will follow through, and if they get more no votes they will not.

Identify how the government of Aotearoa / New Zealand is different from the way in which our school is governed. The government of New Zealand is different to the school government because the NZ government helps the whole New Zealand and the school government helps the kids of New Zealand and does not help New Zealand do anything about global warming, homelessness and ect.

Describe what makes up palernment the structure. There are 120 seats in parliament and all of them get taken up by the parties for example if a party gets 30% of the party vote they will get around 36 MPs in Parliament (being 30% of 120 seats).

Describe why some people choose to stand for parliament. Some  MPs (Members of Parliament) usually rise  from their seats in a bid to get the Speaker's attention - this is known as 'catching the Speaker's eye this get their attention and makes them listen to you more.

I can also list a lot more things.

My Speech

Success Criteria: we will have met our learning intentions when we can

  • Plan our speech using Coggle
  • Construct texts that show an awareness of purpose and audience through deliberate choice of content, language, and text form.
  • Convey and sustain personal voice where appropriate.
  • Write and film our own version of a “edTalk” to share with our peers.

Paper chart

Create - Mathematics. We are learning to plan and conduct investigations using the statistical enquiry cycle:
- determining appropriate variables and 1ata collection methods;
- gathering, sorting, and displaying multivariate category, and time series data to detect patterns, variations, relationships and trends;
- comparing distributions visually;
- communicating findings, using appropriate displays.

We will have met the success criteria when we
  • Develop an understanding of how to use a tally chart and a frequency table.
  • Use a spreadsheet to record our tally / frequency data.
  • Correctly develop a graph or chart using a spreadsheet programme. (Google Sheets)
Develop a clear statement based on our graphed data and share our learning on our learning blog.

Pages 1-2 and 3-4 have the least articles and 11-12 and 13-14 have the most articles. The most articles were around 45 and the least were around 12. All the pages were out of the press which is a set of papers that are delivered in the weekend.

Why do pages 1-4 have the least articles and why do 11-14 have the most articles?

My Poem About Swimming

IMG_5998.jpg
The pool was
as silent as the library
goosebumps all over me.
“ On your marks, go!!”
I dove into cold water
crowd cheering
goosebumps suddenly disappeared
 so did the sick feeling
I swam as fast as I could
It felt like a lifetime.
As I speed past the crowd like a jet boat
I could see the wall
so close now.
swimming faster than ever
I hit the wall
crowd cheering louder than ever
I look back down the pool
to my amazement
everyone was still swimming
“I had won!”
